Well i play at 60 fps as i have a 1060 at 1440p so the framerate isnt a huge drop and it looks fine on my xbox one however the console is 500gb, the older one and only has one controller It's fine for some games but not nearly for enough games. My Xbox One S simply collects dust in my living room because I simply can't go back to 20-30 fps on a 4K TV, I just can't. There are a few exceptions like the few games that do run at 60 fps but almost every game you want to be 60 fps just so happens to be 20-30 fps.Īnother factor is simply that after buying a console and playing and completing these exclusives after 1-3 months, you simply have no use for the console anymore. Once you go 85-144 fps, it's tough going back to 20-30. Plus you'd be able to play God of War and Spiderman, but the only thing holding me back from buying a deal like this is the console itself. Horizon Zero Dawn is another game similar to that of Tomb Raider and you can pick up a copy for around just $5.00 to $7.00. That's actually not a bad deal provided it's at least a 1TB HDD on that PS4 and that it's not the older PS4 and that it comes with at least 2 controllers(so you can sell off one for $40, easy). the way i play games is sort of moving from genre to genre so at one point i was playing battlefield, COD and titanfall but right now i want more tomb raider like gameplay but i do see your point about 4 games not being worth a whole console See im not picky to one type of game, i have just over 100 on steam and about 50 on xbox about half of which i have enjoyed, however right now i am looking for a tomb raider like game and i can get a used ps4 plus all 4 uncharted games for about £150. I seem to have come to the conclusion that uncharted and tomb raider seem to be one of a kind so different question, do you think its worth getting a used ps4 just to play uncharted? Far cry primal i have on xbox and i didn't really like it, it felt to ARK like but mabye thats just me. So most of these games i don't like however you did remind me that i intended to play alan wake as it looks quite good. Beware, you will get hooked to the series. HalfLife 2 If you do not own this and have never played it, stop overlooking it, buy it and play it asap. The story and presentation is out of this world good. Hellblade Senuas Sacrifice I can't help but re-recommend this if you don't already have it.A top candidate to fill the Tomb Raider shaped hole imo. Far Cry Primal It's the Far Cry for people that don't like all the other Far Crys.Remember Me Could be a sleeper for you.ENSLAVED Odyssey to the West Premium Edition Another game that should be right up your alley.Shadow of Mordor + ALL DLC The upgrade system has a tiny learning curve but you'll get it quick.Open world ish(I like the fact that it's not really a true open world in the way just cause or GTA is) Now I have a lot of these and have looked Into most of the others and none of them seem to full that tomb raider shaped hole Don't think for one second that the steam summer sale is your best bet to get games on sale.
