the combat is still enjoyable but I don't feel like this followup had a shred of the substance or intelligent game design it needed to be really worth my time. Levels are more repetitive, though, and difficulty feels unevenly balanced, resulting in a less satisfying experience. every-once in a while text will appear telling you thats what youre doing but there is no actual meta commentary just an admission of its short comings that don't excuse those short comings. There is no story, the game doesn't find new ways to toy with its premise and is just a bunch of sort of bland superhot levels that have to repeated long past the point of monotony. The game features about 15 different levels that you cycle through over and over again but none of them are as interesting as the ones in the original.
